NEXT YEAR'S GRADE PLACEMENT 2
Having Jenni in our class has been a wonderful experience for me and the students. It has been great watching her begin to feel comfortable in a new school, learn to understand a different language, and make new friends. The boys and girls in the class have learned that actions can speak louder than words and that smile is universal.
Jenni is beginning to learn some vocabulary words and I'm sure she will continue to learn new words as she works over the summer. Her fine motor skills are well developed and her work is neatly and carefully done.
Jenni has excellent math skills. She understands addition, subtraction, and numeration. As soon as she determines what we are doing in class, she willingly volunteers to do examples on the chalkboard. She has made new friends and enjoys playing with them at recess time.
Thank you for all the time you gave to help Jenni make the transition to her new school. Your assistance was key to Jenni's success. I look forward to seeing her again next year, and hope we will be having conversations about what she is doing as a second grader.
Have a pleasant summer vacation!
